IDF eliminates Hamas commander operating as doctor at Gaza hospital

The IDF conducted a targeted strike Saturday in central Gaza Strip, eliminating Jamal Abu Aoun, a Hamas platoon commander who simultaneously worked as a doctor at Yaffa Hospital in Deir al-Balah. Abu Aoun commanded Hamas terrorists and planned operations against IDF forces and Israel, according to the IDF Spokesperson. He was recently involved in force-building efforts and rehabilitation of Hamas in violation of the ceasefire agreement.
