IDF eliminates Hamas company commander in Khan Yunis

The IDF struck in southern Gaza Strip on Thursday, eliminating Hudhaifa Khaled Suleiman Qawari, a company commander in Hamas' Khan Yunis brigade. According to the IDF, Qawari trained terrorists, facilitated weapons transfers across southern Gaza, and worked to rebuild Hamas' military capabilities. He recently advanced terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians. The IDF stated that precautions were taken to minimize civilian harm, including precise munitions and aerial surveillance. IDF forces remain deployed in the area under the Southern Command.
