IDF eliminates Hamas intelligence chief involved in October 7 planning

The IDF announced the elimination of Iyad al-Shanbari, Head of Operations in Hamas Intelligence Headquarters, in a strike in Gaza City. According to the IDF Spokesperson, al-Shanbari participated in planning the October 7th massacre. He had previously survived an assassination attempt in 2007.
