IDF eliminates Hamas terrorist who killed Nahal Brigade Commander on October 7th

The IDF struck in Khan Younis in southern Gaza earlier this week and eliminated Ismail Ibrahim Darwish Kandil, a Hamas Nukhba terrorist who infiltrated Israeli territory and participated in killing Nahal Brigade Commander Colonel Yonatan Steinberg during the October 7th massacre. The terrorist had recently advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and worked to restore Hamas capabilities in violation of the ceasefire. The IDF said it took steps to mitigate civilian harm, including precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
