IDF eliminates Hamas Yibna Battalion commander in Rafah strike

The IDF and ISA eliminated Mohammad Fathi Abd al-Hay Abu Fakher, Commander of Hamas' Yibna Battalion in the Rafah Brigade, in a strike on Monday. Abu Fakher had been recruiting new terrorists and attempting to restore the battalion's capabilities to attack IDF troops. A veteran Hamas commander, he served for approximately 20 years as a senior official in Hamas' Supply Department and was a central figure in the terrorist organization's smuggling network, managing weapons smuggling into Gaza and overseeing supply operations for Hamas' military wing.
