IDF eliminates Hezbollah Southern Front Commander in Beirut naval strike
The Israeli Navy eliminated Hajj Yusuf Ismail Hashem, Hezbollah's Southern Front Commander, in a strike in Beirut on Tuesday. Hashem, a senior commander with over 40 years of experience, led the unit responsible for terrorist activities against Israeli civilians and combat operations in southern Lebanon. He assumed the role following the elimination of Ali Karaki alongside Hassan Nasrallah during Operation Northern Arrows. The strike, directed by the Intelligence Directorate and Northern Command, is described as a significant blow to Hezbollah's operational capabilities.
