IDF eliminates Hezbollah terrorist who opened fire in southern Lebanon

An IDF soldier killed a Hezbollah terrorist who opened fire on troops during searches of a structure in the Bint Jbeil area of southern Lebanon. The incident occurred yesterday (Tuesday) as soldiers were searching a building where an encounter last Thursday left an IDF reservist severely injured. The soldiers immediately returned fire, eliminating the terrorist. No IDF injuries were reported in yesterday's incident. The IDF stated it will continue operations to remove threats to its troops and prevent Hezbollah from harming Israeli civilians.
