IDF eliminates Islamic Jihad and Hamas commanders in Gaza strikes
The IDF struck two targets in Gaza on Thursday, eliminating Ibrahim Nabil Ibrahim Bass, a Hamas military wing commander who infiltrated Israeli territory and participated in the October 7th massacre, and Hamdi Ahmad Hamid Kahlil, an Islamic Jihad observation platoon commander. The strikes were carried out in the Al-Shati and Sabra areas. The IDF stated the terrorists continued advancing attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians while attempting to restore terrorist organization capabilities in violation of the ceasefire. Precise munitions and aerial surveillance were used to mitigate civilian harm. IDF troops remain deployed under the Southern Command in accordance with the ceasefire agreement.
