IDF eliminates Islamic Jihad commander involved in October 7th Kibbutz Be'eri attack
The IDF conducted a strike in Khan Yunis and eliminated Tareq Anwar Khamis Ra'i, a company commander in Islamic Jihad's supply unit. During the October 7th massacre, Ra'i infiltrated Kibbutz Be'eri and participated in the abduction of an Israeli civilian. The terrorist had recently advanced terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians. The IDF took steps to mitigate civilian harm, including using precise munitions and aerial surveillance. IDF troops under Southern Command remain deployed in the area and will continue operating to remove immediate threats.
