IDF eliminates senior Hamas operative Qais Bitawi in Jenin airstrike

The IDF and ISA eliminated Qais Bitawi, a senior Hamas operative in the Jenin terrorist network, along with two accomplices in an Israeli Air Force airstrike on Friday. Bitawi was involved in directing, funding, and executing terror attacks against Israeli civilians and security forces, and maintained ties with Hamas in Gaza and abroad. Weapons were found in their vehicle. Bitawi is a family member of Noor Bitawi, commander of the Jenin terrorist network, who was eliminated in May 2025. The operation was part of efforts to thwart terrorism in Judea and Samaria.
