IDF Eliminates Senior PFLP Terrorist in Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet announced on Friday that they had eliminated Mohammad Washah, also known as “Abu Khalil,” a senior Syrian operative and head of the military-security division of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) in Syria. The targeted strike occurred Thursday in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, based on intelligence provided by the Shin Bet. Washah was a key figure within the PFLP’s infrastructure in Syria and was reportedly involved in planning and coordinating attacks against Israel. Aerial footage released by the IDF shows the moment of the strike, which marks a continuation of Israel’s campaign to dismantle Iranian-backed and proxy terror networks operating in the region.
