IDF eliminates two Hamas commanders in Gaza strikes
The IDF and ISA eliminated two Hamas commanders in separate strikes in Gaza. On Sunday, the IDF struck in northern Gaza and killed Ahmad Yahya Ibrahim Batsh, a Hamas Nukhba cell commander who had been advancing terror attacks against IDF troops throughout the war. On Monday, the IDF struck in southern Gaza and eliminated Hamouda Abu Daqa, a commander in Hamas' Military Intelligence Unit who was gathering intelligence on IDF troops to direct attacks and posed an immediate threat. The IDF said it took steps to mitigate civilian harm, including using precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
