IDF launches major operation in Beaufort Ridge and Wadi al-Saluki in southern Lebanon

The IDF has launched a ground operation in the Beaufort Ridge and Wadi al-Saluki area in southern Lebanon to dismantle terrorist infrastructure and eliminate threats to Galilee communities. The operation, which began several days ago, involves significant ground forces conducting offensive operations to expand the Forward Defense Line. IDF forces have crossed the Litani River and are expanding operations against Hezbollah targets north of the river. The operation aims to establish operational control of Beaufort Ridge, from which Hezbollah managed military activities and launched hundreds of projectiles toward Israeli civilians and soldiers. Israeli Air Force conducted extensive strikes prior to ground entry, supported by artillery and tank fire.
