IDF lifts most restrictions nationwide, eases gathering limits in confrontation zone

The Home Front Command updates its defense policy effective April 17, 2026 at 16:00 through April 23 at 20:00. The entire country moves to full activity level without restrictions, except in the confrontation line zone where gatherings are limited to 1,000 people until April 18 at 20:00. From that time, gathering restrictions will be lifted in the confrontation line zone as well. The Home Front Command will continue situation assessments and update the public if policy changes occur.
