IDF Orders Evacuation of Nabatieh and Tyre in Southern Lebanon

The IDF Arabic Spokesperson has ordered the evacuation of Nabatieh and Tyre, the second and third largest cities in southern Lebanon, along with nearby villages and camps. The evacuation orders affect more than 220,000 residents combined and must be completed within 24 hours. The timing coincides with the Eid al-Adha holiday. Nabatieh has approximately 120,000 residents with its suburbs, while Tyre and surrounding areas have over 100,000 people.
