IDF Prepares Gaza Evacuation, Expands GHF Distribution
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the upcoming establishment of two new aid distribution centers funded by the U.S. GHF foundation in southern Gaza, ahead of a potential evacuation of Gaza City. The centers will replace the existing Tel Sultan facility in Rafah, bringing the total number of GHF distribution points to five. Since the launch of these centers, approximately 2.3 million weekly food packages have been distributed to Gaza residents. However, officials say the current network remains insufficient to meet the needs of the entire population. Until additional centers are built and managed more efficiently, the IDF continues to deliver aid using older methods, including truck convoys and aerial drops.
