IDF Rabbinate Prepares for Return of Slain Hostages

The IDF Military Rabbinate is making extensive preparations for the anticipated return of the bodies of deceased hostages. According to a statement, the Military Rabbinate Corps is mobilizing to swiftly and accurately receive and identify the fallen hostages. For the first time, this process will include the return of the bodies of fallen combat soldiers who were taken hostage. Military funerals will be conducted for these service members upon their return. The preparations emphasize the religious and logistical procedures required to honor and bring the remains of the deceased back to Israel for burial.
