IDF responds to rock-throwing attack in Sa'ir, casualties reported on both sides

IDF soldiers were dispatched to Sa'ir on Friday after Palestinians threw rocks at Israeli civilians who were in the area without prior authorization. Israeli civilians were injured in the rock-throwing. A security official opened fire, resulting in Palestinian casualties. A structure under construction was also set on fire, and firefighting crews extinguished the blaze. IDF soldiers dispersed the confrontation and removed the Israeli civilians from the area. The IDF stated that the unauthorized presence of civilians endangers them and diverts soldiers from defensive operations. Judea and Samaria District Police are on scene with IDF soldiers, collecting evidence and testimonies as part of an investigation.
