IDF sentences soldiers for desecrating Christian symbol in Lebanon

The IDF has concluded its investigation into an incident where a soldier desecrated a Christian religious symbol in southern Lebanon several weeks ago. The soldier who committed the act was sentenced to 21 days of confinement, while the soldier who filmed the incident received 14 days of confinement. The inquiry was conducted by field commanders and concluded by Brigadier General Shagiv Dahan, commander of the 162nd Division.
