IDF soldier severely injured in explosive drone strike in southern Lebanon

An IDF soldier was severely injured when an explosive drone struck in southern Lebanon earlier Wednesday, the military said. The soldier was evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment and his family has been notified. In separate incidents shortly afterward, interceptors were launched toward rockets and suspicious aerial targets in areas where IDF troops are operating in southern Lebanon. The interception results are under review. No additional injuries were reported and no sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol.
