IDF Soldiers to Work During Shavuot Holiday to Deliver Aid Trucks to Gaza

IDF soldiers will be required to work during the Shavuot holiday tomorrow to facilitate delivery of 600 aid trucks to Gaza. According to COGAT's assessment, Hamas has had an excess of food and goods for months, and the crossing is typically closed on Jewish holidays, just as it was closed during an Arab holiday two weeks ago. MK Amit Halevi appealed to Defense Minister Israel Katz to keep the crossing closed during Shavuot and release soldiers for the holiday.
