IDF Spokesperson: Hezbollah drone threat not strategic in current form

The IDF Spokesperson states that Hezbollah's explosive drone threat does not constitute a strategic threat in its current form, arguing that recent public and media discourse has lost proportion. The spokesperson notes that Hezbollah has launched these drones since the beginning of the current fighting at a rate of about two per day, according to Hezbollah-affiliated newspaper Al-Akhbar. The drones were launched both during fighting and after the ceasefire. The spokesperson explains that a small number of Hezbollah operatives have developed proficiency in drone operations over the past month, which is why they are now managing to cause IDF casualties.
