IDF strikes Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon after deadly explosion
The IDF struck Hezbollah terror infrastructure across southern Lebanon over the past 24 hours in response to an explosion in Majdal Zoun that killed Major (Res.) Harel Birenstock and Sergeant Major (Res.) Tamir Vaknin and severely injured four soldiers. Targets included weapon storage facilities, a command center, and additional terror infrastructure. IDF soldiers remain deployed in the security zone in southern Lebanon and will continue operations to remove threats to Israeli civilians and soldiers.
