IDF Strikes Hezbollah Targets in Southern Lebanon After Drone Attack
The IDF struck Hezbollah terrorists and infrastructure in southern Lebanon in response to two explosive drones launched at Israeli soldiers in the Security Zone on Saturday. No IDF injuries were reported from the drone attack. The strikes targeted weapons storage facilities, terrorist structures, and a Hezbollah command center established inside a former hospital building. The IDF says Hezbollah terrorists involved in artillery and observation activities were operating from the command center. The strikes aimed to remove threats from sites used to plan attacks against IDF soldiers and Israeli citizens. Precise munitions and aerial surveillance were used to mitigate civilian harm. The IDF states it will continue operations and will not allow Hezbollah to harm Israeli citizens or troops while remaining committed to the ceasefire agreement.
