IDF strikes suspect after failed surface-to-air missile launch at Israeli aircraft

The IDF identified an unsuccessful attempt to launch a surface-to-air missile toward an Israeli Air Force aircraft in southern Lebanon. No damage or injuries were reported. In rapid response, the Israeli Air Force struck a suspect fleeing the launch area on a motorcycle. The Air Force also intercepted several suspicious aerial targets in areas where IDF troops are operating in southern Lebanon; no sirens were sounded per protocol. In a separate incident earlier today, Hezbollah launched explosive drones toward IDF soldiers in southern Lebanon, with no injuries reported.
