Impeachment motion filed against Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi

A motion to impeach Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has been submitted to the parliament's system. The motion was triggered by Araghchi's meetings in New York with U.S. officials, including envoy Steve Witkoff, during the UN General Assembly. Tehran MP Amirhossein Sabeti, who submitted the motion, claims the meeting lacked authorization from the Supreme Leader and violated Iran's policy framework. The motion now requires submission to the leadership.
