Iran claims interception of hostile targets at Strait of Hormuz entrance
Iranian state media Tasnim reports that two explosions heard on Qeshm Island at 21:40 local time were caused by the interception of hostile targets at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz. Citing sources, Tasnim says Iranian Navy fighters conducted the interception operation. Iranian authorities say details of the operation will be released to the public in the coming hours.
