Iran Claims Ukrainian Strike Killed Sailor on Caspian Sea Ship, Planned Retaliation Canceled
Iran's Foreign Ministry condemned a Ukrainian strike on what it called a "merchant ship" in the Caspian Sea that killed an Iranian sailor. Mohsen Rezaei, military advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader, stated that Iran had prepared to strike three targets in Ukraine but canceled the operation after Ukraine apologized for the attack on the Iranian vessel.
