Iran conditions peace talks participation on Israeli halt to Lebanon strikes

An Iranian delegation will arrive in Islamabad today for peace talks but will participate only if Israel halts all attacks in Lebanon, according to Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson. The spokesperson stated that any regional peace must include Lebanon and that the coming hours will be decisive in determining whether Israel can be restrained. Iran claims it was on the verge of responding yesterday but refrained to allow diplomacy to resolve the matter.
