Iran's Security Council issues detailed ceasefire demands, sets negotiation timeline

Iran's Supreme National Security Council released a statement claiming victory and outlining a 10-point proposal for ceasefire negotiations. The demands include granting Iran special economic status in the Strait of Hormuz, withdrawal of all US forces from the region, ending war against Axis of Resistance members, full compensation payment, lifting all sanctions, release of frozen assets, and UN Security Council approval. Iran states Pakistan informed them the US has accepted these principles as a basis for negotiations. Talks are scheduled to begin in Islamabad on Friday, April 10, lasting two weeks with possible extension. Iran emphasized this does not indicate the end of the war.
