Iran’s Supreme Leader’s Office Responds to Gallant’s Letter

In an unusual step, the office of Iran’s Supreme Leader issued an official response to the open letter published by former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, according to journalist Amit Segal. The statement refers to Gallant’s letter as “propaganda” and part of a “large-scale influence operation.” In the letter, Gallant wrote: “What happened in June 2025 was not merely a military operation — it was a strategic collapse of the system you spent four decades building.”
