Iran's UN ambassador accuses US of illegal blockade, demands compensation from Gulf states

Iran's UN Ambassador Amir Saeed Iravani accused the United States of imposing an illegal international naval blockade against Iran, calling it a violation of Iranian sovereignty and territorial integrity. Iravani stated the US bears full responsibility for the blockade and its consequences. He also demanded compensation from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan for what he described as their participation in war against Iran.
