Iran says talks with US in Pakistan failed over three key disagreements

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson said negotiations with the US in Pakistan ended without agreement due to disagreements on three topics, despite reaching understanding on some issues. The talks covered 10 Iranian clauses and US-presented points, and were conducted "in an atmosphere of distrust and suspicion," the spokesperson said. While contacts with Pakistan continue and the diplomatic path remains open, official Iranian media reports there is no intention to coordinate a new date for another round of talks.
