Iran threatens heavy retaliation for US strikes on Iranian territory

Iranian Revolutionary Guards spokesperson warned that "a heavy punishment awaits the attackers" and that the United States will regret new strikes carried out on Iranian soil. The Iranian Tasnim news agency, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards, quoted a senior military source saying Iran's armed forces will respond to strikes carried out by the Americans at several locations in the country, with a response "several times more powerful than the American strikes."
