Iran Threatens to Strike U.S. Bases in Europe if Countries Join Aggression

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baqaei warned that Iran will attack American bases in European countries if they participate in aggression against Iran. Baqaei stated that Iran reserves the right to strike any source from which aggressive action against the Islamic Republic originates, adding that countries need not fear Iran unless they allow their territory to be used by the U.S. for attacks. He also dismissed reports of millions of barrels of oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz as "psychological warfare," and confirmed Iran has not received an official invitation to join the Mecca Agreement.
