Iran threatens to target U.S. political figures, allied infrastructure in future conflict

A senior Iranian security official told Fars News that Tehran would expand its target list if renewed fighting involves assassinations of senior officials or civilian casualties. Iran would consider U.S. political targets and the infrastructure of countries participating in the conflict as legitimate targets for retaliation in the event of another major war.
