Iran-US 60-day ceasefire set to expire in 5 days

A 60-day ceasefire agreed upon in a memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States is set to end in five days. A senior Iranian source told Reuters there are no discussions about extending the ceasefire, claiming that from Iran's perspective, no start date was ever set and therefore there is nothing to extend. The source alleged the United States violated the temporary agreement 48 hours after it was signed and withdrew from it after a few days.
