Iran Vows Strait of Hormuz Remains Closed Until US Changes Conduct
Mohammad Baqer Doulghadr, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, declared that the Strait of Hormuz will not reopen as long as the United States does not change its conduct. He stated that the Supreme National Security Council will never retreat from its position, whether in war or negotiations. The statement comes despite reports in Iranian media this week that Doulghadr was replaced by Mohsen Rezaee, though he continues to sign statements with his usual title.
