Iran warns Israeli attacks on Lebanon would violate new memorandum of understanding
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei stated that continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon would breach commitments under a recently signed memorandum of understanding. He said the US must ensure Israeli compliance with America's commitments to Iran under the agreement. Baghaei declared Iran's missiles are "not negotiated over" and defensive capabilities won't be discussed with any party. He claimed sanctions relief on Iranian oil begins today and will continue during negotiations, and that Iran must have unrestricted access to frozen assets. Baghaei also stated Iran will receive payment for services in the Strait of Hormuz, with management arrangements being finalized with Oman.
