Iranian negotiator warns of Gulf regime collapse if US strikes Iran
Professor Mohammad Marandi, a member of Iran's negotiation delegation, threatened that family dictatorships in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain would collapse immediately if the US carries out strikes on Iran. Marandi warned that such action would also lead to a rapid collapse of the global economy. His comments come amid intensifying discourse in the US and Israel about potential strikes on Iran following US midterm elections scheduled for next Tuesday.
