Iraqi Shiite militias postpone planned retaliation against Saudi Arabia
Shiite militias in Iraq have announced they are postponing their planned military response against Saudi Arabia following a strike on Iraqi territory approximately ten days ago that killed around 20 militia members. The militias said they decided to comply with a request from Hadi al-Amiri, a senior figure in pro-Iranian militias, to postpone the response and allow diplomatic efforts to secure appropriate compensation.
