Iraqi terrorist accused of planning 18 attacks on Jews arrested in Turkey, extradited to US
Mohammad Baqir al-Saadi, a senior member of the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades, was arrested at a Turkish airport during a connecting flight to Russia and extradited to the FBI after two days. He is accused of planning 18 attacks against Jewish targets as revenge for Israeli operations against Iran. Some attacks were carried out in Europe, including the Netherlands and London, while others were planned for locations such as a synagogue in New York. Al-Saadi is expected to stand trial in the United States.
