Israel announces retaliatory measures against Britain over settlement policy

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar announces response measures against Britain, including closing the British consulate in Jerusalem and banning ten senior British officials and citizens from entering Israel. Sa'ar stated that the Labour government's decision represents "an extremely blatant intervention in Israeli politics ahead of the elections" and called it "an unacceptable attempt to interfere during an election period."
