Israel Condemns Pakistani Defense Minister's Call for Destruction of Israel

The Prime Minister's Office condemned the Pakistani defense minister's call for Israel's destruction as outrageous, stating such remarks cannot be accepted from any government, especially not from a country claiming to be a neutral mediator for peace. The Pakistani minister had said "Israel is evil and a curse upon humanity" and that "genocide is being carried out in Lebanon" during peace talks in Islamabad. He added: "I pray that those who created this cancerous state on Palestinian land to get rid of European Jews will burn in hell."
