Israel Sends Humanitarian Delegation to Colombia Following Earthquake

Israel is deploying a joint humanitarian delegation to Colombia Thursday night following a major earthquake. The 80-member "Alliance of Brothers" mission, led by Brigadier General (Res.) Yossi Pinto, includes search and rescue teams and experts from the IDF, Ministry of Defense, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The delegation will depart from Nevatim airbase on Israeli Air Force aircraft and begin search and rescue operations immediately upon landing. Home Front Command chief Major General Shay Klepper stated the mission aims to provide immediate assistance and save lives through rapid mapping of impact sites.
