Israel Sends Urgent Humanitarian Aid to South Sudan

Under the direction of Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, Israel will provide urgent humanitarian assistance to South Sudan, which is currently facing a severe cholera outbreak and critical shortages of medical and sanitation resources, officials announced. The aid package will include essential medical equipment for patient care, water purification supplies, gloves and face masks, specialized hygiene kits to prevent cholera, and food parcels, according to an official statement. The announcement comes amid reports that Israel has been in discussions with South Sudan regarding the potential transfer of Gazans into the country.
