Israel to Send Emergency Humanitarian Aid to Druze in Suwayda

Amid intensifying violence and a worsening humanitarian crisis in southern Syria, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar has ordered the urgent transfer of humanitarian aid to Druze communities in the Suwayda province. The aid package, valued at 2 million shekels, will include food supplies, medical equipment, first-aid kits, and essential medicines. According to the Foreign Ministry, the aid will be targeted specifically at Druze areas in Suwayda that have been directly affected by recent attacks. The funding will come from the Foreign Ministry’s budget and follows a previous aid initiative for Syrian Druze launched in March.
