Israeli Airstrikes Kill Nuclear Scientist Mohammad Reza Seddiqi In Tehran

Iranian state television reports that Israeli airstrikes early this morning killed Mohammad Reza Seddiqi, head of Iran’s Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research (SPND), in his Tehran apartment. Seddiqi, recently sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury, was linked to nuclear and explosive weapons development. He was reportedly killed just hours before the U.S.-announced ceasefire took effect.
