Israeli Chief of Staff visits southern Lebanon, reports 1,700 Hezbollah casualties

The Israeli Chief of Staff conducted a visit inside southern Lebanese territory, with Lebanese sources geolocating the visit to the village of Kouzah, north of Ayta ash-Shaab and south of Beit Lif. During the visit, the Chief of Staff stated that Hezbollah has suffered more than 1,700 killed since the beginning of the campaign. He confirmed that IDF forces from the 98th Division are continuing operations in Bint Jbeil and working to clear the area.
