Israeli Defense Minister: Over 200 Terrorists Killed in Operation 'Eternal Darkness'

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that over 200 terrorists were eliminated yesterday in Operation 'Eternal Darkness,' bringing the total killed in the campaign to more than 1,400. Katz stated that Hezbollah is "desperate for a ceasefire" and that Iranian patrons are applying pressure out of concern Israel will crush the organization. He said the IDF is prepared to act with full force if Iran fires toward Israel, and will carry out powerful airstrikes against terrorists and launchers in the Litani area and throughout Lebanon. Katz described the operation as leaving Hezbollah "shocked and confused by the depth of the penetration and the scale of the strike."
